I see this as an compliment, and nothing else. Thank you Cool

However, I am not cheating, so if you want I can record some of the games I play

It also happens if you go over 2000 in correspondence. :)

Avatar of adumbrate

You have had it too?

Avatar of MSC157

Yep, 2 or 3 years ago. So looks like it stayed the same.

Avatar of Zigwurst

I've gotten it before.

*friendly reminder* chess.com,  please implement a better cheating detection system!

Avatar of SisypheanLife

They do give an automated warning if you cross 2000 correspondence...

Avatar of Jenium

I never get that warning... :-( Guess my play is too poor.

Avatar of BoltRX

That is very unfair. All the 2800 players today play amazing without cheating!

Man thats rough, if you get to a 2000+ elo they warn you of cheating? thats like saying stop improving.

Avatar of Martin_Stahl

The OP message is a little different than the one you get when crossing 2000 as a correspondence player. The latter is 100% a reminder message that the site takes the issues seriously. In either case, if your games are clean, there is nothing to worry about.

It doesn't mean they don't want people to keep improving.

Avatar of adumbrate

I used it as a motivational tool, and are very close to 2200 now (2180), so don't worry. + my games are clean.

Avatar of clms_chess

I went over 2000+ a few times and never got that message. Maybe they new something because I went right back down below 2000 shortly... :(

lol

I got the message when I reached 2000 in correspondence. I also got it once after a 10 minute blitz game; I thought it was funny because although I won the blitz game, my play was horrible because I was playing a friend rated about 1000 and being completely careless (I think I dropped a knight, etc) Tongue Out

skotheim2 This is all normal. Almost everyone passing 2000 in rating will get the message.

But this does not mean that Chess.com dont track thoose with lower ratings.

I belive its GREAT that they track members for cheating. Players with very LOW inaccuracies and errors are always watched.

And thosse with big rating differences. Forexample a 2000 player are not normaly a 1300 in bullet and blitz

This is the natural response of chairman officials due to the homogeneous nature of Chess surface speed alterations.
