Looking for a tutor

I’m sure this will be ignored by most, but I’m a beginner chess player wondering if anyone of middle/advanced level would be willing to tutor me, play me in games, pick out my mistakes, and help me improve. I know I could play rounds with random individuals, but what I’d really like is to keep in close contact with someone who I can play multiple games with, and who will explain if/why my moves are faulty and how I can improve my thinking. A chess buddy, if you will. A tutor and new friend. If you got this far, thanks for reading, and feel free to add me! :)

Mm, I’m good with FAST time controls, and maybe blitz, but otherwise... I could teach openings and strategies, tho

You are literally under 1000 and have lost most of your games played.

Fast time controls are not good for learning.

"How much is a lesson on average?" ++ Super GM: 200 $/h, GM: 100 $/h, IM: 50$/h, FM: 25 $/h, CM: 10 $/h. However, a book by a top GM costs you $20 and gives you 200 h of top tutoring.

"And how much time do I need to learn to play more or less well?"
++ In 200 h you can reach 2000 rating.

I didn’t know there were guys online offering chess tutoring! If anyone of you is still interested, then please, contact me!
I’m already quite old (I’m in my 30s) but I really want to learn to play chess better. Not to impress anyone but to feel better about me. I’m a teacher myself and teach many students online on tutorcruncher.com. I just think about the day when a student of mine might offer me to play chess, and I will lose in five minutes because I don’t even know the rules that well.
How much is a lesson on average? And how much time do I need to learn to play more or less well?

Hi! I'm a Chess.com coach and I would be glad to work with you. You can check my profile and if interested in lessons then message me for details. Regards
