NEVER TOO OLD TO IMPROVE

First of all everyone's i.q. gets higher as we grow into maturity, perhaps even beyond.   But EXPERIENCE is the best teacher, along with playing players that are better than you are.   For the past six weeks I've been playing an A rated player, so they claim.   Personally, I think his actual rating would be somewhere around 2460,judging from the way he plays.   I'm a pretty good player and the last two times I've played him I've come very close to beating him.   It's been very enjoyable even when I lose because I'm convinced that the best way to become a better player (once you've learned the basics) is by playing someone better that yourself.

I thought that one's IQ got lower the older they got once they had passed a certain age.

I hope that we get better as we get older. That would be great!

Yep, everyone's IQ gets lower.  Then again, what does that have to do with it?
