Stephen Kawuma becomes FIDE Master

Stephen Kawuma recently achieved the FIDE Master (FM) title at the Africa Individual Championship where he scored 4.5/9, it was quite impressive for him to achieve a 50% score in such a strong field.

That's a very good score. Very very good masters will get probably get 6.5/7 at 9. At the very bottom, I imagine the score will be around 2 o 4.5 is a very good score! Well done Stephen!

That link didnt work for me but I checked www.fide.com and found him. His rating is under 2200 fide and I thought you must be 2300 or better for the FM title ?
