hey evryone i havn't been playin chess very long so can anyone give some tips to a newby

Practice tactics.  When you no longer have to wonder why that's what you should be doing, come back, and ask what to do next.

don't worry too much about learning openings yet. just worry about general opening principles (like control the center, develop minor pieces, don't make too many pawn moves, etc.)

if you are serious about playing, you should consider practicing/learning some endgames (such as K+P vs K, K+R vs K, K+Q vs K etc.)

I agree -- tactics first, endgames shortly thereafter.

Aside from learning some key opening principles (control the centre, develop minor peices as efficiently and effectively as possible, castle to safety etc.), leave actual book openings until much later.
