Topalov-Anand, Who do you think will win?

I think it's the match between the strongest players. Topalov is very deep tactician with (probably) the strongest opening repertoire. In some games he is going for big risks which is double edged. On the other hand Anand is very strong on "short" tactics and he has very balanced style. No big risks, no long shots and no "short" tactic missed.

I hope Topalov would win. Either way I believe this match will be memorable.

I really hope Topalov wins..but its going to be a really good show...both play very open variations...and in my point of view and past matches are evenly matched...whatever happens I'll be happy because I HATE KRAMNIK for the person he is and dont like Kamsky's style of play...

Put your hand on the heart and tell me you have seen such an aggressive player on such a high level (with such a good results despite the aggressive play). Tell me you preffer watching Lekos and Kramniks games better than watching Topalovs games. And last but not least... tell me you know someone whose games are drawing more new players to the game... Be onest to yourself

;) It's a tough poll for Indians

I will probably be cheering on Anand but I think Topalov will win the match. Am hoping for a great match between two great players. A battle right to the very end is what I would like to see. And no off-the-board controversies please.

Anand, and may the blitz chess guy do us proud!
hazenfelts

when will the games start?

Maradonna

I might be well off here...but, I think Anand - Topalov is the match everybody was wanting to see rather than Anand/Kramnik and Topalov/Kamsky.

Alex_Kovach

Anand will win because he has better hair...

TheOldReb

I certainly did not want to see an Anand-Kamsky match and am happy I will see Anand-Topalov instead ! I also do not like the styles of Kramnik, Kamsky, Leko and others who use the "safety first " approach. I think now we are going to see the 2 most agressive players in a match that should produce some brilliant games and , hopefully, no short draws. I hope the match will be 20 games but it seems they are going to make world championship matches only 12 games which I think is tragic.

Hi guys,

I have an Indian friend who is a big fan of Anand.  So, I would hope for Anand.

Watch your backrank.

KAKROACH

Both can win. Who cares?
