What to do when someone is abusing and cursing in chat?

There was a guy who was cursing me and abusing me just because of i won a match. I reported him but i think the thing he said should be seeb and should punish.

Apart from reporting, disable chat (at least with strangers) not to make this or similar situation happen anymore to you.

I always play against strangers with having the chat disabled, so I don't get distracted by its contents.

Not all strangers are aggressive, some are good too. Once few weeks ago, i had to go somewhere cuz of work but i started playing chess. I txted that person who was playing with me to draw and he did draw that match. I appreciated it. Sometimes chat is needed so i can't always disable it

don't let it get to you andd cc's obviously gonna take so long to look over it and ban or whatsoever so maybe send them an email ab this with the screenshot and also report them

ive had people curse me out on chess.coms chat. I simply have a laugh and dont take it seriously, but he didnt abuse you he simply threw insults at you and told you to kill yourself.

Chess players are a VERY angry bunch. My favorite insult? A woman I was playing, who I had NEVER spoken to before, got angry because I had taken her queen early in the game and she called me a "dirty Republican!"

Report them or ignore them.
