I would like to talk about a guy I know who is actually the best chess player I know but with a twist. I met this guy a like time ago, he is an older gentleman (late 60s) and he loves chess more than anyone I have ever met. Any time I saw him he always had his face in a chess book with a board in front of him, the way he talked about chess was filled with passion for the game. He went to tournaments all around the country, I saw him at almost every tournament I ever went to.

But he is still only around 1100 rated. This may seem odd and I thought so too. However I believe he is truly the best chess player I have ever met because he plays souly for the love of the game. Very inspiring man indeed.
