Well, not exactly - rather it's the other way around. And let's drop the words 'winners' and 'losers'. Let's put it like this - Good players keep learning and improving their games by studying the games they have lost while the others become complacent by their winning games and may not learn from the games which they have lost.

btw, I've played 1525 games to date, won 677, lost 743, drawn 105 so that's a 44.39% win, 48.72% loss, 6.88% draw. Still learning - my target is to reach 1800 in 3-6 months time.
Yes Sandy you are correct , good player doesn't feels satisfied with their games they keep on improves their game by correcting mistakes , but a player who always wins doesn't go much for learning , it is the skill of winners . They changes their games according to the situation. But if a player keeps on losing , he will be more frustrated to have a win. For that he takes necessary measures to improve his games. This is why I say imperfect actions are taken by winners , because of their confidence to change the game in the end and losers keeps on perfecting their plans to win the game.
You are good in quick chess , but lots of games can be learned when you play online . There is no frustration in online games , it is a slow game and can learn all moves easily because my friend "Slow and steady wins the race".

ok BH101, thanks for your views. I never played "online" chess on this site so it is bit difficult for me to understand what you are saying.
Anyway, I play live games here - 10/10 or 10/15 types you know but I would prefer a 30 minute game over a 10/10. Thank you friend, have a good time playing on this site. :)

btw, here's a quote from Enter the Dragon. It doesn't relate to Chess per se but it's a good one:

Good quote but you must know that getting defeated is simple but winning is difficult . True heros will have a burning desire to win .
In the second sentence of your quote , it shows to face the outcome of defeat. Through defeats we can only learn what is victory.
There is another quote.It is not the winning,but the taking part that matters.
Yes , taking part in an event is important than getting won.
