Is there a variant of standard chess (the usual board, pieces, initial piece setup and rules) where one wins only by having their king cross to their eighth rank (or of course their opponent's resignation) or perhaps more practically either by checkmate, their opponent's resignation or by having their king cross to their eighth rank? If so what is it called?
