Bulldog chess with pope (1e4c6_0-1 vs. vickalan)
Yes, this graphic is also the dwarf. If we play more games with the pope I might make a specific graphic. But I'm not sure what's the best icon. Popes don't wear helmets anyway, so maybe someone has a better idea? We're just "borrowing" this graphic for now.
Btw, sorry, I need another day for our game. I'm still a bit busy, but I haven't forgotten about it.
MISTER_McCHESS showed some diagrams but they use a "bishop" for the pope (it's just an endgame diagram). There might be other icons, but I needed one compatible with this board, so borrowing the "helmet" was easiest for now.
I also like the knights being farther out. It's just one square but it totally changes the strategy of center development.

Pope (P) - The pope moves as king + bishop. (Equivalently as guard + bishop)

Board Setup:
The rules of castling are similar as in classical chess, however, with the board 10 squares wide, the king travels three squares rather than two. The rook finishes adjacent to the king. All squares between the king and the involved rook must be unoccupied.
Misc: Pawns play the same as in classical chess. Pawns can promote to queen, rook, bishop, knight or pope. Promotions are unlimited (not restricted to pieces that have been captured).
Other rules of this game are identical with rules of classical chess.
