I play chess.com on mobile and on computer but can chess variants be accessed on phone? Also does anyone have any good atomic strategies? What about fog of war? Thanks in advance.

The apps only natively supported the 960 variant.
You can access chess variant in mobile also. I discovered this by accident. Steps- 1. Open the Chess.com app. 2. Go to More. 3. Go to Club option. 4. Scroll down till the end. Here you will find some options like fair play, help, chess.com@2025 etc. 5. Click on the 'chess.com@2025' option. 6. Now you will find in the website home page of Chess.com 7. Click on the 'New Game' option. 8. Now you are able to select variant like Chess960, 3 Check, Bughouse, Crazyhouse, King of the Hill, 4 player variant and other varient.

This will work but it's best just to use a browser. In the app it's not directly supported and prone to be buggy

But you can use web version on phone which is what I use so I can play variants anytime I like
