Chess Idea (Pawn)

So I was thinking of how chess could play out where a pawn after being moved up 1 or 2 squares could move back 1 but cant take I've shown the general idea below its completely losing for white but I'd like to know what situations if any this would be good in thanks!
I'm open to talk about this idea anytime including if the pawn could take while moving backwards
