It's possible in certain circumstances to gambit a go-between cleanly. Under normal circumstances, I have a feeling that it may be possible, but the lines are ridiculously complex. So much time spent trying to make it work. I get close, but it always fails somehow. I've taken a break from any attempts to find a solution. This shape is not one of the special ones which allow you to gambit a go-between.

I've wanted to test out dai shogi at some point, too. Only 8 pieces not found in chu shogi, and they all promote to gold.

One day I want to visit Dai as well. But now is not a good time, with plans to focus on Chu and just after acquiring a Tenjiku set from Mrs. Hodges.
