If I had promoted, you could've initiated the horse trade, and I get nothing much, unless I want a damaged position. Unpromotion got me at least rook for bishop, but now more. 1九横 was a mistake. Then 同角 was a blunder - only move was 6五馬

Yeah I see the nonpromotion makes sense. 

So 33. 1九横 was a mistake. Or what I wonder, was the mistake already when I took the pawn? Because I didn't see a better move at move 33.
