Yeah maybe
Normal chess but every material advantage point gives the person who has less points a different advantage based on how many less points they have
Advantages stack
-1 point - Choice to skip turn
-2 points - Opponent's pawns cant move up 2 squares
-3-4 points - Pawns can capture forward
-5-8 points - Opponent's knights can't jump over pieces
-9+ points - Extra move each turn
Gambits are probably very good in this chess variant
