Cool variant I made. I hope it becomes a thing

The variant would be called “stacks” or “stackable”

you are able to stack different pieces of yours onto the the same square. When someone captures a piece on a square with two different things. They are given the option of which piece they want to capture on that square like how which piece you want to promote when pawns go all the way up. After that. There’s an enemy piece and a friend piece on the same square. But if some one just places their piece over one singular other piece, it just captures. There could be an option for limit count of stackable pieces on each square in settings before hitting start game, underneath time control. Thoughts?
