Custom tab in the variants lobby

In the variants area, when you click on lobby tab, there are 3 tab options. One of the tab options is 'Custom'. What is this for? Can this tab be set to display the games you wish to see? Currently I use the adjacent tab 'Most popular", but hate how games I do not want to play get displayed and hate how the games jump around too much. Does anyone know the purpose of this tab and if it can be set to display only games you would join and if so, how to you set this tab?
