@alexandermatos Since there is still plenty of time until January 1st, would it be possible to extend the tournament to a maximum capacity of sixteen contestants?

It will auto-start to January 1st, but only if not enough players have joined. I also stated that the first 8 players to join get to play, so the tournament starts now.

Round 1 Pairings

@deeper_thinking (white) vs. @alpha_zer000 (black)
@PunchboxNET (white) vs. @haoming09 (black)
@WolfKid18 (white) vs. @DukeofHelsinki (black)
These pairings are random, so there may be some imbalanced matches. The way single-elimination works is that players who have lost are eliminated. In Round 3, only two players are left due to the process of elimination in Rounds 1 and 2.

This is a dice chess single-elimination tournament. The rules of this variant can be found here. Make sure you know the rules of this variant before signing up. I am sure every one of you knows what a single-elimination tournament is, so I don't need to explain that. Signing up is as simple as saying "sign-up" or "join." The first eight people to sign-up get to play in this tournament.
