I like this piece but I think that it should have an appropriate name. "Recapturer" is quite dull and technical.

Elf. Very agile and not so very malicious.

I feel that a piece forced to capture is more the chaotic evil mad sort

So it only hurts when the opponent did so, otherwise it is friendly.

There's elvenchess, where the elf is nothing special - only the King-Bishop compound as we already know in Shogi. That's not a serious claim on the name elf to my opinion.
