How do you play chess variants on the chess.com app on macOS?

Hi, I’m having trouble finding chess variants on the app and I want to play Crazyhouse so I need to know if it’s my version of macOS that makes it an unavailable feature. I just updated the app and apparently my macOS version is the newest one so if anyone could help, that’d be wonderful. Have a great day, anyway!

The apps do not natively support variants other than 960.

You can still just try from the website it will work, I had some the same
And yes, the app supports the website

There are 2 different ways to get to chess variants go to help and search where do I play chess variants if that doesn't work go to clubs and click on a random one and it should give you the join button but don't press it instead go back and it should give you a screen that shows a pawn at the left side so press the pawn with a hand on it and the hit 4 player and chess variants and your there.

It's better to use a browser. Going through the apps to a webview page is prone to have bugs.
