So now that we established that it's not by any definition of the word "infinite recursion chess" what is it then?
My suggestion: donut chess
circle chess
If you connect the left and right of a chessboard you get a cylinder. If you then connect the top and bottom (which are now circles) you get a donut. You may also connect the top and bottom first but you'll still get a donut in the end.
