You're right — a lot of people have been hoping to see variants (like Bughouse, 3-Check, and more) fully supported on the Android and iOS apps, and it's been a pretty common request for a while now.
Just to note: you can technically play variants on a mobile device, but not through the Chess.com app itself. If you open your device’s browser (like Chrome or Safari) and go to the full Chess.com website, you'll be able to access and play variants that way. It’s not perfect, but it’s a solid workaround for now.
If you want to help push this forward, I'd recommend submitting a quick feature request via Chess.com Support. The more people speak up, the better the chance it gets noticed by the dev team!
