New Variant/rule suggestion: pre-moves only

I had an idea for a new parameter/game type for chess variants: what if each player can only move before they see their opponents' move? In this mode, neither piece would move until both players have selected their move, aka "pre-moved", and then they would both move at the same time. This would lead to a few conflicting situations, but I have solutions. -if two pieces move to the same square, both pieces are captured. -if two pieces cross while moving along the same rank/file/diagonal, whichever piece moved farther captures the other on the way to their selected square. if they both moved the same distance, both pieces bounce off of each other and return to their original square. -if two pieces collide on the way to their respective squares, the higher-value piece captures the lower-value piece on the way to their selected square. the pieces must fully collide for this to happen, one piece skimming the corner of the intersecting square as another passes through it does not count. if the pieces are of the same value, they will both be captured. knights cannot cross paths with any other pieces. the king will be captured by any piece it crosses paths with besides pawns. pawns also cannot cross with other pawns. -if two pieces attempt to capture each other (both pieces try to capture the square where the opposing piece was before the move) both pieces are captured. -the only way to get a checkmate is by capturing the enemy king using one of these rules. if both kings capture each other, the game is drawn. -each player's time continually counts down. when the clock runs out, the game is drawn. That's all the rules I can think of, but if you find any edge cases make sure to tell me. I would love to see this as a variant, it would be really cool!
