physical duck chess

Hi guys, i really like the new “duck chess” variant, and one idea that keeps coming in my mind is that it’s a perfect variant for over the board chess. The only thing thats missing is a “duck” piece that can be played with standard tournament size pieces, maybe a bit bigger than a pawn. Does anyone know if that exists? Or if any chess piece manufacturer, or an independent manufacturer, plans on producing one? Thanks

As far as I know there's no one working on it since it's a new variant but I guess u can just use a duck like this one (but obviously separated from the pieces) and play it like the variant.

I do agree the variant has potential to be part of serious chess since it changes the game a lot and it's fair for both sides.

I think black should place the duck to counteract some of white's advantage.

I sought online for an official website on duck chess and found the following website:

https://duckchess.com/

Under the Rules of Duck Chess, it says, "To play Duck Chess, you need two players, a standard chess set, and one rubber duck (small enough to occupy a single square of the chessboard)."

Therefore, a rubber duck would be tournament standard as far as I know, however, I do agree that a duck piece would be cool
