Hello. I would like to ask the Chess.com developers a question, if they can answer ...
I realized that recently Chess.com added other variants and in addition a super customizable system of merging variants, being able to add, moreover, wherever the pawn is promoted and which piece will be available and etc, really impressive the step that Chess .com gave.
But I kept thinking: how did all this complexity take place, how long did it take? Was some kind of powerful computer used to simulate different game situations to verify that there were no conflicts?
I thank.
https://www.chess.com/clubs/forum/view/adding-new-variants. Seems to have an ongoing discussion with one of the chess.com variants developers.
I don't get the impression that there is any computer testing required.
