Possible piece: Miner (M) 8 points?
The Miner is a stationary piece that can't defend or attack, but can be captured. Each turn the miner harvests one energy point from the earth. The miner drains energy from a 10 square radius preventing any other future miners, friend or foe, to acquire energy inside the radius while the current miner is alive.
Now that I think about it that is probably the most boring piece possible. All you do with it is stall xD.

also, is the spirit being at 5.5 balanced? that's what it was in the original game, but a knight is 3. so that's a 2.5 over the +1 a piece usually gets for hybridizing.

We’ll just have to wait and see. The spirit hasn’t seen a lot of use, for some reason. We’ll make it up as we go.
I might've not gotten it in frame. You can see it exists because of the lines, but it might just be higher. I'll check.

Sorry didn't make myself clear. I wanted to protect my knight, add a piece around my king and push away you queen who was way too threatening for comfort.
