A pawn cannot outrun a 🦁. One can often gain 4-6 tempi in a real game of chu shogi against a naive beginner, who thinks taking a pawn and advancing their own will be useful, when instead it can just be chased down later (if at all necessary). It's especially funny if the opponent doesn't know about all the back rank promotion traps.
I am just happy you moved your lion back. I am aware that the pawn is to slow.
