The Issue With Cheaters

I have repeatedly reached the top of the Racing Kings Blitz Leaderboard and have run into multiple cheaters. I have hard evidence they cheat for anyone wanting specific cases, but I will not publicly shame them here. What's frustrating is that they cheat in other variants, including standard chess, but only get closed for fair play upon getting caught cheating in standard chess. Then, variant players don't get rating refunds for losing or drawing them. It is frustrating. Why have a rating system for variants or a leaderboard if it isn't properly managed? 

I have emailed chess.com and made several attempts to get in touch with them on this issue and the only response I've received was that they'd look into it several months ago. I would be complacent with this issue if it was a free to play site like playstrategy or pychess, but this is chesscom with paid subscriptions and everything. This is ridiculous and it's why I don't pay. If you guys are going to offer variants, why isn't it given at least bare minimum coverage for dealing with cheating? No one enjoys playing cheaters and if there's no way to avoid playing them in variants without proper compensation for the lack of prevention or cheat detection in playing variants here?

I've easily lost over 100 rating due to this and it takes hundreds of games to regain the rating and the spot on the leaderboard. It's becoming unplayable to play variants on this site and I wonder why, with the money chess.com makes and the attention variants has gotten from streamers and such, that there isn't better moderation on it yet.
