Thanks for asking. All round-1 games have started or are finished. None of the quarter-finals can start yet because the opponents aren't know yet. So I think everything is good so far.
The Mega_dog tournament

@greypenguin drew @PawnStormPossie and started playing a rematch,
@PawnStormPossie won the rematch by checkmate in 6 moves.
@thegreatauk will play against @PawnStormPossie in the winners bracket.
@evert823 will play against @greypenguin in the losers bracket.
lol even if i win i have to play tug, and if i somehow win that i have martin0
not to mention that if by some miracle i beat martin0 then i have either auk or ry
definitely winning the tournament

I am almost in the top ten, and was like 6 at one point.
I lost to ry twice. Horribly.
This is your first time playing. And you're justarandompatzer

There's no schedule here. As soon as both players are ready to start, then you can start the next game.
We might add deadlines when a game must start if a game is delayed to start for too long, but generally it has not been an issue.
You can go ahead and ask @thegreatauk when he wants to start the next game.

You may want to wait for a confirmation from vickalan, but I have a suggestion regarding colors.
If both players have had the same amount of white games in this tournament, then the top player plays white.
If the players do not have the same amount of white games, then the player with the fewest white games plays white.
I will add colors to the bracket:

With the logic above, since evert has 1 black game and penguin has 1 white game, then evert gets white and penguin gets black.

I want to make it to game 28.
Regarding colors...with logic given, doesn't Auk play white vs me?
Auk has 1 white game, 0 black games.
You have 0 white games, 1 black game.
Since you don't have the same amount, the player with the fewest white games play white, which is you.

I won with white, drew with black
Right, I forgot you played 2 games. Let me rewrite those rules:
If the value of white - black games are equal among the players, the top player plays white.
If the value of white - black games are not equal among the players, the player with the lowest value get white.
So, in your case:
Auk: 1 white, 0 black. 1 - 0 = 1
You: 1 white, 1 black. 1 - 1 = 0
Since your value is lower, you get white.
Sounds fair?

Not sure what rules for colors have been used previously, but this is an attempt from me to come up with rules to give players a more even distribution of white and black games.
Another tournament had the lower rated player always choose color, I did not like that, since it does not try to give players even distribution among colors.
Are there still players in need of a mod?
