Why not just a seeded tournament?

Sorry I'm late with posting a bracket. I'll do it tomorrow. I'll seed it so strong players are separated so they can meet later in the tournament. Others will be on the bracket randomly, or by order of entry.

If anyone wants to play a game other than bulldog with witch, then please request it. You'll need an opponent who agrees.

I didn't see anyone requesting to play Martin0, so I'll play him in the first round. @Martin0: I'll play either with witch or with hunters (as here). Let me know which you prefer.

Either way, I'm going for a big upset against Martin.😝😈😝

Notes:

Tournament begins May 27.

All games are bulldog with witch unless both opponents agree to a different bulldog variation (must have been played at least once). All games are rated.

Round-1 games can start at the player's discretion, but all games must be started by June 28.

Open slots are available till June 25.

Players without an opponent as of June 28 advance.

Senior tournament director is me (vickalan).
Junior tournament director is raisingsun.
Tournament directors complete tasks such as decide first move (player taking White), calling time-warnings, etc.

Disputes are resolved by the senior tournament director (subordinate) and if necessary the Bulldog Federation (supreme).

(All information here is tentative. Please leave comments if any concerns. If no concerns games may begin on May 27).

Can I be in the tournament? I haven’t been on the site in a while, but I think it would be fun.

These rules seem to have support (discussed in bulldog club) so we'll use them for this tournament.

This tournament allows other pieces, as long as both players agree. The game with rules stated clearly must have been played at least once previously (helps to confirm no ambiguous rules).
