Throw all your pieces at the king (new variant)

I made a new variant called Throw All Your Pieces At The King

white is trying to checkmate black, and black tries to survive

-White has 6 moves to “setup”, and he cannot move the same piece twice in the setup period

-Play then continues normally

-the black king cannot move backwards if he can move forward or sideways

say sign up to play

but white has a huge positional advantage, as he is 6 tempi up.

White is down a lot of material

A better version of this is to HAVE to take something if you can. And the starting position HAS to be the position you showed after Bxf7+

nvm take away black's queen too

White doesn't need to sacrifice his material. Plus, this "variant" is just 6 move odds (no pieces can be moved twice).

makes more sense. or maybe whites pieces HAVE to move forward and only if a white piece reaches the 8th rank it can move backwards
