Just played a game of Torpedo earlier in the Variants tab. So it seems that when a pawn moves two squares and delivers check to the opponent, en passant is not legal? I do not recall that being the case in normal chess. I then tested the "normal" en passant on Torpedo in analysis board and found that when the pawn moves two squares from its original square and gives check, en passant is not legal. Is this how en passant works in this variant?
