There's only so much you can do in PowerPoint 2016

I like the new colors. It's super-easy to identify each player's pieces.happy.png

It's more fun for you now because you might have an easy capture when it gets back to your turn.😰

No prob. They’re still pretty cool.

@vickalan, do you have the pieces without a color behind them (the piece not standing on a square)? The color of the squares behind the pieces is unfortunately not a single color, so a "Fill" won't work to remove the background.

Luke_Hands sent me graphics, which has all pieces in all four colors (on both square colors). I believe it can be used to paste any piece in any square. I'll send the colorized pieces to you.

@hitthepin: good teamwork! Luke_Hand's position doesn't look as easy to analyze as it did a few moves ago.surprise.png

Here's the board after hitthepin's move:

This is where it gets interesting..

Also, when saying My name in a possessive way (Luke_Hands's), Use an " 's " at the end.

Saying Luke_Hand's sounds like my name is Luke_Hand when it is Luke_Hands.

Just thought I'd let you know.

Thanks for this information. I'm usually good about the English language, but making words and names possesive that end with "s" has always caused me to make mistakes.meh.png

Another word I've had a hard time making possesive is "chess".

Like "chess's history is interesting."

Probably it's easier to say, "The history of chess is interesting." happy.png

Now for my move, and I hope this is more interesting than it looks.:

Well, I hope no one is disappointed if I end the game with a mate in 1.

Great game you guys! I obviously saw Martin0's mate-in-one, and even saw the possibility several moves back (1 round = 4 ply). If it was just Martin and me I would have resigned before I played the last move (I know Martin0's skill enough to know for sure he would see it). But since this was teams, I played a move knowing the end was imminent.

Although our team lost, I really enjoyed it. It was a great success in that we played with four players, and we had no problems with "undefined" rules, or non-clear winning condition. I prefer games with checkmates, more than games with points (although we lost).

Great game!happy.png
