It is time to stop the aimless proliferation of formats for xiangqi game-scores. The ideal is to achieve the establishment of one dominant format just like the pgn format in chess instead of the frigtening diversity of formats for XQ at present.
A survey about xiangqi game viewership

The screenshot shows the formats which the English version of the software XieXieMaster 2.5 are compatible with. Discounting the ones specific to XieXie Master, there are 8 formats ! If you find any other formats besides these, please share it with us.
For WinBoard /XBoard I so far uses the policy to stick to a single format for saving, which is PGN (with SAN move notation). OTOH, for reading, it should preferably be able to load anything that remotely looks like a collection of moves. So that you can, say, copy-paste a game given as a table on a HTML page into WinBoard without any problems.
Currently WinBoard cannot parse moves in AXF format, but I am working on that.
1. Have you ever downloaded a Xiangqi game-score from a xiangqi website and then replayed it successfully on your XQ software ?
2. In what format is the game score ?
3. What is the name of your XQ software ?
