It is harder to find 960 games in Live because it is only available in v3 and the apps. Add to that fewer people play 960 in general. Once v3 is the only version of the site it should improve some.
Are the time restrictions discouraging players?

You can play chess 960 with any time control you want as far as i Know. The only problem is that there are not enough chess 960 players

Also i must say that i am the one Who wants to play chess 960 at longer time controls but can't find an opponent, so feel Free to challenge me

Now you can. It wasnt possible before. There is still the problem opening move. You only have 20 s to do it. It makes sense in a classical chess because everyone knows the opening position, but in 960 that is the position that you would need time since its completely new.
You cant set a fischer time on the fishcer random. Thats an insult to Bobby. And your first move must be done in 15s. That makes no sense since the opening position is new every time. In normal chess it doesnt come as a surprise, but in 960 you should be able to use your time to analyze the starting position before you commit. Why isnt it just a free market place of games. Why place these restriction on players.
And where are the players? Am i missing something on how to find them. If there are 5 000 games going on all the time why is it so hard to find opponent even in the normal game and where are those games?
