actually, it really isn't that hard to program, 960 would especially be simple, using the same engine and just randomising the back rank should be just a short scripting job. Bughouse could pose some problems, especially in the process of introducing 4-way seeks. With the relatively low popularity of bughouse to real games, if it was introduced, we would probably experience quite uneven games at first. also means 2 extra ratings chess.com needs to implement and monitor.
But anyway, it would be great, maybe trial bughouse as premium only??? Could detract more users, but it would make it a drawcard for preimium, and also mean that the hard work would be paid for
I heard that live bughouse and 960 were going to be implented soon. Is this true? If so, does anyone know when? Thanks!
