Bulldog Chess with Witch (josephyossi vs. HorusTheThird)

Wait a second... The witch can jump (like a knight) two squares diagonally and orthogonally, correct? So isn't that basically like that the pieces adjacent to the witch are transparent to it? Or am I missing something.

Does that clear it up?

Thanks anyway hitthepin. I'm just making sure I know exactly how it moves, because I just started a game using witch for the first time .
No, there's no "2 day warning", you get three days before your opponent can issue a warning. And you only lose on time if you make a move one full day after that. So if I don't make a move for 5 days but my opponent only issues a warning on the 4.5th day then I still am in the game. Either that or absolutely everyone has been playing wrong, so I'd say that's correct.

I'm pretty sure you get two days, I've played and watched lots of these games. But you can keep playing if it's alright with @josephyossi. I'll try to confirm this with @vickalan (of course, you may be correct).

The rules are here:

Thanks Martin0 for showing the link. I hope you guys can keep playing - I didn't check each player's reply time carefully.
A player can issue a warning after 3 days of waiting. If you don't issue a warning first, then you can't claim a win. After the warning, if still no move within 24 hours, then you can claim the win.
Btw, If anyone has suggestions to make the rules more clear, feel free to leave comments at link Martin showed.
It hasn't happened often, but I usually don't give warnings until 4 or 5 days, and I always make sure to wait at least the minimum 1 day extra. But anyone can enforce the rules strictly, as long as you are SURE you waited the three days, and then the extra one day. If there is any question about specific reply time, I think the game should keep going.
can you translate 11:20 am PST to EST?
