Should we go back?

All my thinking has been based upon a Knight being on c3.

Assuming that we don't go back, Bxg5

She makes all adjacent pieces transparent for friendly pieces.

Black pieces can go trough the black Witch and all pieces adjacent to the black Witch.

White pieces can go trough the white Witch and all pieces adjacent to the white Witch.

evert823

That's illegal. You're in check since my Queen gives check right through your Witch - because she's now adjacent to my Witch.

^ wait, but my witch isn't a friendly piece...

"The witch is transparent to friendly pieces, and she also makes all adjacent pieces (friend and foe) transparent to friendly pieces"
Which means that my pieces attack through any piece (black or white) if it is adjacent to my Witch. And my pieces attack through my own Witch.

The King would travel 3 squares while castling and then you would be in check.

evert823

the rules i referred to actually indeed mentioned so

but maybe i'm fine if you want to castle that way, i believe i will win a knight
