thanks
let's see...
wait, can a nazgul capture or scare a nazgul?
Nope. Only a queen can capture a Nazgul. And it wouldn't make sense for them to scare each other ... though I didn't really think about that.
It's basically the same thing as when a king is a square away from a king. Neither one can move to that square. A Nazgul can't attack or capture a Nazgul. If a square is occupied by the enemy's Nazgul, yours cannot occupy that square.
... that seems kind of random, but sure.
Actually, it makes sense. They are wraiths, after all. Alright, Nazguls are transparent to other Nazguls.
This is an unrated game of Bulldog with Guard and a new piece, the Nazgul.
The Nazgul (Nz) moves like a queen and knight combined. It cannot capture, but instead, when it lands on a square occupied by an enemy piece, the piece must move as far away from the Nazgul as it can (in LOTR, one of the powers of the Nazgul is fear). If there is more than one 'furthest move', the owner of the fleeing piece may choose which square it moves to. If the piece cannot legally move away, it is removed from the board (e.g. a pawn that is blocked by another piece). This applies to kings. If the Nazgul 'captures' a king, and the king is unable to move away, it is checkmate. The Nazgul is can only be captured by queens.
I'll mod. Good luck Dobby!
