also think it would be an excellent idea for this site to adopt a live 960... it seems like a fun game, but I don't have a lot of patience with the turn-based gms either. hope it happens!

The pawns are randomly placed on the 7th and 2nd ranks corresponding by color

Hi there people

While we patiently wait for live Chess960 at Chess.com, a new Chess960 site has been started that supports Live 960, Team 960 and Slow 960 games (as well as standard chess). It has pretty boards and pieces, the people are friendly and it seems to work great. I'm not affliated with them in any way, I'm just a fan of Chess960.

Well, I guess they will delete your comment as well, then. I had not expected they would take offence on mentioning sites that support features that they apparently are not interested in implementing themselves at chess.com.

Let's be patient and supportive of Chess.com. It is probably very busy on a lot of priorities no doubt. It's a big job running a chess server that is now on mobile phone as well! In the meantime while we patiently and supportively wait for Chess.com, we have options.

I'll keep waiting. I was searching on the web for a site to play chess960, but nothing. I found some sites that offer chess960, but once there: nothing.
