When I grabbed that lowly pawn with the queen, that was basically my way of saying "I can handle whatever you've got", I felt like I had the time to go after your trapped chancellor. Of course it wasn't that long ago where I realised that if not for my chancellor being so well place (guarding both (7,7) and (7,9)) then I'd have lost. So yeah, somewhat lucky.
I'll wait for vick to catch up with the latest flurry, I think I know what I'm moving though.
One last shot to at least draw for me. I'd probably resign if you see it, which you will. Just that tiny hope.

No prizes for guessing where my king is going. I wouldn't resign yet though, I mean you saw how close you came despite being several pieces down. I do not have a coordinated attack, I've been on the defensive for so long. I do have a plan, and I'd imagine I will win this now, but I'm not 100% sure.

I do like that the chancellor can deliver mate alone. There's C(6,9), and also if my king goes to (10,8) there's C(12,9), although the hawk is covering. But that's two checkmate threats with just the chancellor.
I reckon I can abandon the rook and counter attack, I'm not going to rush this.
