20...Cx(8,6)
Chess on an Infinite Plane (game: bowlinggreen - vickalan)

Weird
Wanna play? I'd like to get one more game going. We only play about one move per day.
bowling green, You already have a pawn on (8,2):

Normally castling isn't allowed in Infinite Plane, but we can play this game with it. (You spent the time to clear all the pieces). The rook started 2 more squares away from the king, so castling is king moves 2 squares (same as normal) and rook moves inside. I'll play:
22...Qx(3,4)

Hawk(-6,5)? Not sure what you mean. Hawks can jump 2 or 3 squares in the queen's directions. Nothing can go to (-6,5) from where your pieces are. Your left side hawk can go to (-2,-3) or (1,-6) among other squares. Not sure if your move was a typo?

Ok, thanks for the game bowlinggreen. I'm glad you played for as long as you did. You're a great sport.

Yes - good find! Another early forum about the game is (this thread). It's still a good place if anyone wants to discuss theory, or maybe even new ways to adjust the game (different rules, different starting positions?).
