I'd rather just play you from scratch ry. If this game is still in the balance when he has to leave, he can concede the title and we can resume this game any time in the future, if both of us choose to.

I would hope that over the coming six weeks, one of us will gain a big enough advantage to be decisive. I'm not going to refuse to resign or drag out forced moves just so I'm still playing when he goes. If I resign, then we can decide who takes his title by having a tournament. That might even take two years, so when he comes back he can challenge the winner.

Sure, we can discuss that before we start.
