Chess on an Infinite Plane (PixelByPixel - captaintugwash)

"Point counts are only a rough guide."
Indeed, we can see that in regular chess. I expect it will be even rougher in this format.

ha I didn't see that move, although it only delays.
I was wrong though, it's not this move. Now your king has an extra square so it's not next move either, but two more...
32... Rx(9.0)

Wait no I've got it covered. I'm pretty confident you're out of ammo.
I have just woken up, it'll take a minute to get my brain into action.

These positions can be more complicated than they look. Even if a mate-in-N is announced I'll have to wait till I see the opponent resign.

They're extremely complicated, especially when we're moving faster than the board updates. It's easy to overlook things. I knew he was in trouble but I couldn't quite visualise all his replies, so it was premature to announce mate in n, but still, when you think you have mate in 8 or so, you announce it, don't you?

Good game, @captaintugwash . I would like to play again soon, but I would also like to play Twin King Chess with somebody. (I played the move that I felt would be the most confusing to checkmate.)
