Chess on an Infinite Plane: Proven Cases of Insufficient Material to force Checkmate

Have you played Chess on an Infinite Plane? Maybe, maybe not. But if you have then you’ll see in the rules that it says a draw can be made by “proven cases of insufficient material”.

But interestingly, there is little work being done to discover these cases of insufficient material. We all have a vague sense of it, but we don’t really know. Which is why I have taken it upon myself to list them out as a reference tool. Even if it has a negligible affect on gameplay (most games never reach the endgame), I will do it for the sense of completion.
