Yeah, its fun when it gets complicated. Its hard to guess the value of the new knights here. One pessimistic way to think is that the knight can be 1/4 of a rook + 1/4 of a knight or 1/4 of a bishop and 1/4 of a knight. That would be 5/4 + 3/4 = 2 for the rook variant (facing straight), but obviously the flexibility of the knights make them worth more than that. How much more is hard to guess, but I would guess they are still worth about the same as the bishop.
