Also if you don't have this yet I've got a simple event idea: Bouncing Bishops
This position would be checkmate EDIT: MATE IN 1 because the white bishop will bounce off the edges of the board to attack the black king, landing on d4.
The bishop can't go across the pawn to get to d7, but it can bounce behind to d7. B(d1-h5-e8-d7)
A bishop can bounce back to its original position, wasting a move. This would be good in a Zugzwang.
I like your idea @HorribleTomato. I will probably add it in some form. And no, there are currently not an event like that. I generally don't allow moves that don't change the position, so I would probably not allow the bishop to get back to its original square.
I don't see why the second position is checkmate though. If it is whites move, then Bf6 or Be1-c3 is checkmate, but before white moves blacks king is not attacked. Also the bishop can not access the d4 square when bouncing on the walls.
