Whites logic was that if Black went for a Sicilian setup, with the Black King on b8, then Black would have to play a lot of moves to untangle his position.

 

Note that for King Transfers the King always lands one square away from the edge of the board.

 

Note that the opening Pawn Structure for this game was the Sicilian, but it was reflected to the other side of the board.
