50Mark: Don't you think that most experienced players who have memorized hundreds of lines would adapt to this change quickly (after ten to twenty games if not faster)? In my opinion this change would only affect amateurs and they don't usually have many openings memorized anyway.

Firstly, they must not play blitz chess since the game's mode have to be lot. They must be aware of their current mode to not being confused with another modes.
Secondly,in live chess, memorization time will be quite took over by pieces function conversion. It is only in daily game we will truly easy to convert pieces function in repetition.
The last,we have three pieces function to be exchanged instead of two as shown in above game. Also we could apply different mode (Asymmetric mode) for one player. These ways are in reserved for now.

But as I said, after a few games their minds will adjust and thus they will be back to their old tricks lickety-split.

But, as you also said, it's a game that caters well to amateurs, did you not?
So, at least you already admitted one group of players that can have fun with this variant.
Now, to all concerned: I haven't been here for a while because I've been busy with certain academic pursuits. I did have to abandon all my chess variant endeavors on chess.com temporarily.
To Mark50: sorry for the long wait. I'll be around a little more so thatwe can finish this game.
Well,it seems there is no participants interested in this tournament.Maybe you could invite your member groups to join in here.
